Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre/Northwest/Northwest inaugurated Reed College’s new Performing Arts Building with a special site-specific piece, L’esprit de l’escalier. With dancers echoing the rhythms of the atrium staircase, the performance mobilized architecture as inspiration for movement.
